The journey, values and vision behind Mafia Weekend CIC.

Mafia Weekend CIC began in South London in 2019 with Make A Film In A Weekend, a grassroots project bringing people together through creativity. What started as participatory filmmaking grew into a community-led organisation delivering storytelling events, intergenerational programmes and creative community projects. From The Story Gathering to Create UP, we use film, storytelling and shared experiences to build confidence, connection, belonging and stronger communities.
